La Gomerra, the little island of natural wonders where Columbus landed.
The main attraction of this small volcanic island off Tenerife is the Garajonay National Park, which is covered in ancient laurel forest. The island is also a fascinating site in terms of its natural and cultural heritage, as shown by the Gomerra whistle language, a distinctive method of communication dating back to pre-Spanish times, invented by the inhabitants of the island to exchange messages between neighbouring settlements.

Masca, a hidden mountain jewel in Tenerife, where silence and nature rule
According to legend, this is where pirates used to keep their treasures, which they would bring up from their ships through the gorge. Until 1991, the village was accessible only on foot, but nowadays there is a serpentine road leading to the village. The village is not only historically but also ethnographically significant, with restaurants and guesthouses built into the hillside.

This zoo has a beautiful tropical setting with 4,000 parrots, exotic animals and dolphin shows.
The 135,000 m² park is located in the holiday resort town of Puerto de la Cruz and had around 40 million visitors since its opening. As the name suggests (loro = parrot), the zoo is home to 350 different species of parrots, making it the largest parrot collection in the world. Many of these species can only be seen in zoos, making it a mecca for researchers.
The park also hosts daily shows with dolphins, killer whales, seals and parrots.
Also a very spectacular element is the 18.5 metre shark tunnel, where piranhas and colourful fishes swim directly overhead alongside shark species.
The Loro Parque is a unique experience for young and old alike, with its rich wildlife and spectacular scenery.
First class aquapark with slides, wave pool and the extreme 28-metre kamikaze waterslide.
Siam Park has been ranked No 1 on Tripadvisor for 8 years, so it's no coincidence that it's one of Tenerife's top attractions. Many of the park's features are modelled on the Thai royal palace and the royal family itself attended the opening ceremony.
The stunning tropical setting guarantees fun for all ages, whether it's a relaxing swim or an adrenaline rush.
